Blind Guardian on the iPhone! Kinda makes me wish i had one.

Blind Guardian is coming to Philly!! Nov 19!! I don't care if the world is on fire and there's a 2 million mile gap in between me and the concert I AM GOING!!

So I've been fiddling around with my chakra and have had mild success. I was focusing improperly I have now read, but I did succeed in focusing on my heart chakra, I was able to see blue even with my eyes open and no external sources invading either. It was very interesting, it felt like I was being filled, rather like an urn, with water. I can't seem to get back to that state though, and it's a tad annoying. But I'm still workin on it.

Blind Guardian now has a release date for the new album: Aug 24. They even have 30sec clips on their website. I like what I hear!!

YAY!! Blind Guardian has announced the released some info about their new album 'At the Edge of Time'. Oh so happy about this. It's been 4 years so it has been quite awaited. They even have a 30 second clip of one of the songs on their website. This is also the second album that Frederik Ehmke, the founding drummer Thomen Stauch left before 'A Twist in the Myth', is gonna be on. Can't wait to get the CD and sure as hell can't wait for the US tour to come to Philly, or anywhere near me.

So last night I got to see Amon Amarth at the TLA, with opening bands Holy Grail and Tyr. I got to meet the lead singer of Holy Grail, James Paul Luna. Nice guy, very personable. He was standing up front at the merchandise area after their set. The entire show was awesome, even though I could barely see the stage with all the damn tall people around. I eventually just stayed near the mosh pit so I could see the stage and jump in/out of the pit as i saw fit. While i was in the pit there were a few good points: during Cry of the Black Birds, John Hegg(lead singer) yells out Draw your swords to strike Hear the Black Birds cry! Let them feel your hate! Show no fear! ATTACK!!. And oh yes we did! The pit went insane >:) During Death in Fire Johan had us chanting Death in Fire getting us louder and louder! And during The Pursuit of Vikings we chanted 'Oden! Guide our ships Our axes, spears and swords Guide us through storms that whip And in brutal war' for about 5 minutes. Then during the encore the final song they let the crowd pick. Someone yelled out 'Versus the world', not loud enough in my opinion so I yelled it louder. The crowd erupted to that and the band is nodding in agreement. Just about everyone was moshing during that, I even saw a few chicks jump in and try to hold their own. Insane concert overall, I loved it. And yes, my body still aches from the event!! Well, like mom says 'If your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough'. Far to true and I'm glad I have a good pain tolerance.

Gonna try and remember the set list now...

New Gorillaz CD. I'm rather disappointed with all the featured artists on this album. I really liked the first album and the second was ok, but this is pretty poor imo.

Well since I know how it feels to get stuck in the snow... Today i helped a guy out of the snow he got his suv stuck in. He kept stopping though so it took awhile.
