So i bought one of those Total Gyms that Chuck Norris advertises. And if anyone is wondering if they work... OMFG BUT THEY DO!! This is only my third day using it (i had to take Wednesday off to let my muscles recover, need to take a day off every so often) and it really works. I'm working muscles i never knew i had. And for $75 off the normal price I'm happy i bought it. And i think there's already some muscle growth in my biceps. :)

My favorite exercises are the pull up and front press. The front press is me facing downward on the sliding board and pushing up. Damn but that works rather well. I've been doing 13 reps to a set and i could barely do the final 3 of those. The weird thing is I have to lower the resistance for the butterfly exercises, I don't have enough strength yet to do them on the incline that i do everything else, i think it's a shoulder or back exercise.

This band is an a capella metal band. Well almost, they do have drums, but damn it's pretty cool. Although i like their covers more than their own songs. And is it just me or is the bald guy with the goatee have more charisma than the singers??

His practice has no room for new patients! Now, he's a medical wizard!
I love this Doctor

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speed up heart not make live longer; that like say you can extend life of car by driving faster. Want live longer? Take nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does cow eat? Hay and corn. What are these? Vegetables. So, steak nothing more than efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef also good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And pork chop can give 100% recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine. That means they take water out of fruity bit; get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: If you have body and you have fat, ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Cannot think of single one, sorry. My philosophy: No Pain...Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING!!! .... Foods fried in vegetable oil. How getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only do sit-ups if want bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: You crazy? HELLO. Cocoa beans! Vegetable!!! Cocoa beans best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
AND.....
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies:
1. The Japanese eat very little fat
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you

Ok so Monday to Thursday i have cooked, and i mean actually cooked, real meals. I am very impressed with my self.

~~Monday: Spaghetti with garlic red sauce and hot italian sausage.

~~Tuesday: Pregresso split pea soup and grilled ham.

~~Wednesday: Pork chops with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.

~~Thursday: London Broil with Mashed Potatoes and green beans.

Monday's dinner is nothin special for me. I do this alot as it is. Same with tuesday, i need to learn to make real split pea soup and use a hamhock but this takes all of 10 minutes re prepare: Open 2 cans and microwave for total of 10 minutes. Stir at 4 and 8 minute mark. The ham steak is grilled then cut up and dealt out to the split pea to absorb some of the flavor of the ham. Ready to consume!!

Wednesday was interesting since I've never done this part. 2 layers of pork chops and sauerkraut, bake for 1 hour. I shoulda let it cook for the full hour instead of taking it out at the 50 minute mark.

Thursday, tonight, was fabulous. It's my first time cooking steak. It turned out quite well. The steak itself was a tad dry in my opinion, but nothing the marinade sauce can't fix. The marinade is my dads recipe and i dare say i did quite well. I've always helped with the steaks preparation, but this is the first time I've gotten to cook it myself. Need i say I'm pleased with myself? I think i shall. I'm pleased with myself, and the steak.

NOM NOM NOM!!
